27 December 2007: Arrival

This first day is designed for you to arrive at your own pace and to recover from the trip’s exertions while settling down at the hotel in a relaxed manner, so as to be fresh and ready the next morning.

You will find here-under the day’s planning as we envision it ... give or take a few details and surprises.

Welcome:

	For those of you who arrive by plane, a welcome service will be organized to pick you up upon your arrival at Bangkok airport and to take you directly to the resort. All details regarding this welcome service are available in the “Welcome” section.
	For those of you who are in or around Bangkok at that time, you will be able to go to the hotel by yourselves with the help of the maps prepared for you in the “Map” section, or to take the bus that will start from Soi Samahan at 9.00 that morning.

Check-in:

	A welcome drink will be served to you upon your arrival at the hotel while you go through check-in procedures with the help of one of our guides (whom you will soon be able to get acquainted with the “Paradise” section)
	Babies and children (0-12 years) who accompany you will be invited to check-in at the “Children Counter” with the teams that will be taking care of them during your stay, and if they want, they can join straight away the games organized for the afternoon. More information on their activities in the “Kid Corner” section.
	The teenagers (12-18 years) who accompany you will be invited to check-in at the "Teens Counter" with the team that will coach them during your stay, and if they want, they can join straight away the activities organized for the afternoon. More information on their activities in the “Kid Corner” section.
	Once the formalities are completed, your guides will be happy to take you around to discover the resort before leading you to your room, providing you with all prepared documentation and answering all your questions before leaving you to rest and relax.

Cocktail and dinner:

A welcome cocktail, organized around 18.00 at the Fisherman Pier, will enable you to get acquainted with all the other guests in a relaxed informal environment.

At this occasion, Santa Claus notifies us that he will be pleased to make a short stop at the resort on his way back home to Lapland to say hello to our children.

The barges landed on the pier will welcome you starting 19.30 with an international buffet, composed of various dishes designed to satisfy all tastes and diets.

Après-diner :
	For those of you who feel like it, we are booking two private karaoke rooms at the Green Wave Karaoke Club. The Club also offers billiards to the amateurs. The nearby Rantee Lounge will also welcome those who like to dance.

Where will be the happy couple?

We will endeavor to spread ourselves thin enough to be at least able to welcome you at some point, whether in the airport-hotel shuttle, in the resort’s lobby at check-in time, or somewhere in the resort. And of course, we will be among you for the welcome cocktail and dinner!
