Immortalized by Hollywood, Pierre Boule and the unfortunate events described by both book and movie, the River Kwai has let much water flow under its bridge since 1967, hence eliminating all the stale smells of Hell that were still lurking on its banks.
If indeed it is just a few steps ways from the place where Colonel Nicholson collapsed on the famous detonator that we plan to invite the River Kwai to make a come back into History (our history anyway), it will this time play the role of Paradise - and it is ready for it. |

Along the river and in view of the touristic version of the legendary bridge, the Felix River Kwai Resort is located on the opposite bank to Kanchanaburi city, around 130 km Northwest of Bangkok, near the Birmese border.

On a several hectares-wide domain, the Felix has been designed as a cluster of 2-floor houses arranged in large tropical gardens, within which small canals and landscaped swimming pool meander.
